Overview

When adding bequests to a decedent profile, users must select a bequest type. Super Admins can create custom types. 

Note: Bequest types apply to all charities in your organization. For more information on bequest types and how they work, see the article Understanding Bequest Types.

In this article, we’ll go over how to locate bequest type options.

Find and View Bequest Types

Click Bequest Types in the left menu. 

A list of all existing bequest types will be displayed. By default, bequest types will display in alphabetical order based on their Name. 

You can sort the bequest types by clicking any of column title. 

In the example below, the Bequest Count column was clicked, so the bequest types are now sorted from the lowest count to the highest. If you click Bequest Count again, the bequest types will be sorted from the highest number of files to the lowest. 

To view a bequest type, click the Name in the row. 

The bequest type will open.
