Overview
Document types allow users to categorize files uploaded into the system. Document types can help users identify at a glance what kind of file is associated with a decedent or a bequest and if it is relevant to their search.
Note: For more information on the process of adding files to the system, see the articles Add Files to a Decedent and Add a File to a Bequest for Admins.
Super Admins are able to customize the document type options that display in charities. When a document type is created, it will be available for every charity in that organization.
