Overview
When adding files to the system, users must select a document type. Super Admins can create custom types for files.
Note: Document types apply to all charities in your organization. For more information on document types and how they work, see the article Understanding Document Types.
In this article, we’ll go over how to locate document type options.
Find and View Document Types
Click Document Types in the left menu.
A list of all existing document types will be displayed. By default, document types will display in alphabetical order based on their Name.
You can sort the document types by clicking any of column title.
In the example below, the Name column was clicked, so the document types are now sorted from A-Z by type name. If you click Name again, the document types will be sorted from Z-A.
To view a document type, click the Name in the row.
The document type will open.
